Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, across the sea to the east is Morocco, in West Africa. Teide volcano is the third-largest volcano in the world from its base is found here.
The island as it is today was formed three million years ago and is surprisingly quite populated by full-time residence.
The Stone Rose is one of mother nature's beautiful work of art. It can be seen on a cliff face shaped like the petals of a rose on the road up to Teide National Park.
